From the Gold Label line of one-off creations – this utterly unique piece is cut from original 1950s floral fabric, in a soft baby pink scattered with roses. The fabric, assumed to be acetate, has been paired with a structured internal corset-style bodice made from complementary duchess satin, giving the dress its sculpted, elegant shape.
Billowing balloon sleeves gathered into a neat cuff balance the figure-hugging pencil skirt, while the V-neckline frames the face and décolletage. The fit is enhanced by the built-in spiral steel boning and internal waist-stay belt, for support and shape.
